  Moomin-lookalike Lady Miss Eromes . . . pantpant

But my friends say I look like a Moomin

729 Name: Train Man ♦ SgHguKHEFY Post Date: 28/03/04 02:58

After the wine she looked like she was a bit drunk

I was feeling a bit drunk as well.

The conversation went back to the train incident

‘What were you feeling at that moment? We were a bit pissed so the questions were more to the point.

  ‘Of course I was afraid.’

Said it just like it was . . .

  Like I didn’t care

‘I’d like for all men to become like you’

I was gobsmacked, did not compute

‘I’d also like to be more like you’

I couldn’t work out why but I was getting nervous.

I always get embarrassed when people around me, my boss or any other guy say how they should be more like me.

It was past 2200 hours by now.

She may have sussed out that she wouldn’t be getting any more conversation out of me so we paid the bill and left the restaurant.

We split the basically straight down the middle.

We walked towards the station. There were still loads of people out.

Weird but we didn’t talk much on the way to the station.

750 Name: Train Man ♦ SgHguKHEFY Post Date: 28/03/04 03:10

We both got on the Keihin Tohoku Line. We were going in the same direction.

‘I’m getting off at the next stop’

She lives here, I thought to myself.

‘Thank you so much for today.’

‘No, no, the pleasure is all mine.’

A little voice in me was saying I can’t let it end like this but I had no idea how to suggest something more. I just couldn’t.

The train was picking up speed. This is the end. Oh well, good while it lasted. Thoughts were swirling through my head. The doors opened

  ‘Good night then’

She stepped off the train and onto the platform.

  She turned around to wave.

The doors are closing. Just as they closed, I yelled out

  ‘I’ll call you again!’

I’m not sure if she heard me but she looked like she was nodding.

  and that’s all folks.

Train Man lies exhausted from the bombing campaign. Fellow Geeks line up for the relentless counter attack.

I think somebody mentioned this earlier but dressing up and going to dinner with a girl in itself is a step up, you know.

It’s not like you’re pushing it too far to begin with.

If you want to get closer to Lady Miss Hermes then you can move it up a notch later.

You can do it dude. Good job.

  807 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 28/03/04 03:24

  >Train Man

You definitely have to call her tomorrow!

You got to get another date with her!

It’s the man’s job to ask women on dates.

That is a moral obligation as well as a rule!!!!

810 Name: Train Man ♦ SgHguKHEFY Post Date: 28/03/04 03:25

I tried to tell her that I wanted to see her again but

  I couldn’t . . .

Not with her right in front of my face . . .

  811 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 28/03/04 03:25

  >>777

From this point forward you can just ask her out on regular dates, no?

You don’t have to look at it as going out-out immediately. Dinner can be just friends.

Plus Lady Miss Hermes likes going out to trendy restaurants and she doesn’t have anybody to go there with which means that you need to step up and ask her to dinner or ask her to take you to one of her haunts which is totally reasonable and probable and possible.

still got nothing to lose, gotta give it a go, no?

  824 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 28/03/04 03:27

When Lady Hermes said that she didn’t have anybody to go restaurant-hopping with she probably hoped that you’d jump in and say ‘Then why don’t we go together’.

  She gave you the bait

but you kept your mouth shut

  That was a top opportunity

  840 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 28/03/04 03:31

I think the key is in the parts Train Man has left out

  Restaurant-hopping →no one to go with . . . you get me

You can go for it when you call tomorrow.

If it’s not too much hassle, may I ask you out again?

our first exchange went something like this

‘I’m sorry I was away from the phone earlier’

‘No, no, you must have been busy?’

  ‘No no, it’s fine’

  Something like that

then I thanked her for last night.

I asked her if she heard what I shouted out from the train and she said she had.

After that I mentioned her losing her restaurant-hopping friend, and I asked if she didn’t mind, could I take over.

‘I really wanted to bring this up yesterday but . . .’

‘ha-ha-ha, I was teasing you yesterday’

  ‘I’m a bit dim. Sorry.’

  just as in the thread

  By the way Train Man

Did you ask Lady Miss Hermes = Moomin her age?

474 Name: Train Man ♦ SgHguKHEFY Post Date: 28/03/04 22:45

Oh, and I got her e-mail.

I don’t play the sex simulator games much

but I do play the regular ones

got through all of Dragon Quest V

  478 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 28/03/04 22:46

I am the one that said Lady Hermes teased you last time so you could ask her to dinner. Give thanks yeah.

On your second date you should talk about films.

What have you seen recently? like that

Anything you want to see? etc

and that gives you the chance to ask her to a film.

2 dinner dates squeezes the conversation well dry so

if you go to see a film you’ll recharge the conversation.

And don’t stress about what to wear. Lady Hermes likes you for you and she probably sees that you aren’t too big on the clothes thing anyway.

As far as I can see, from what Mista Train Man has written

he doesn’t say much but what he does say is really good

  Like

‘I’m going to get dressed up’

  or

‘It’s only recently that I’ve taken an interest in places like this’

I wouldn’t call it hip but you’re right on target or a bit smart or a bit on the simple side yet really quite attractive

Those words never would have come out of my mouth

And Miss Hermes’ replies are great too

  Ummmm. . .

if I had to choose, I’d say she has more of a high-pitched voice

and she has a tiny voice so it’s difficult to have a conversation . . .

I’m guessing at most of her lines in much of the progress report

611 Name: Train Man ♦ SgHguKHEFY Post Date: 28/03/04 23:36

  Her age remains a mystery.

She looks about 23-25 but she gives off a really settled kind of vibe it’s like she’s got some kind of buffer that adds years to her real age
